The experience behind the studio
Optika Film Studios brings together an interest in storytelling, creative practice and collaborative production.
Optika Film Studios CIC is a newly established organisation. Our directors bring experience from their own creative practice, including award-winning work and degree-level study in their specialist fields.
Founder Spencer Shackleton brings award-winning filmmaking and screenwriting experience through his company, Shytalk Productions. His qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking and a Master’s degree in Film & Television Production.
This experience informs the training, mentoring and creative opportunities we are developing at Optika. Optika Film Studios CIC will act as producer for all work created by delegates as part of our courses. Each production will credit delegates for their individual contributions and acknowledge the organisations that funded the course, in accordance with the relevant funding agreements.
This page will showcase behind-the-scenes (BTS) material and completed projects, highlighting the people involved and what they learned.
